THIS IS WHY! (Ahem, I did the invitation card.)
My aunt is holding a birthday party for her two daughters this Saturday! And no, it's not just any ordinary party!
IT'S A PRINCESS-THEMED BIRTHDAY PARTY!
We're talking about princess cups, plates, banners, balloons, table cloth and everything there is going to be princess-ed! Oh and there's a dress/colour code. Everybody has to wear pink, white or blue!
So, everything you find there will be in either pink, white or blue! How cool is that!
Oh my gosh! My aunt bought this Princess backdrop thing, and we're going to paste it on the wall so that people can take pictures with the princesses! And and, my mom bought this Princess piñata, and we're going to hit it and sweets and confetti will come pouring on us!
SO EXCITING PLEASE.
And just yesterday and the day before, my sister, my mom and I tied small ribbons on the forks and spoons. Come on, coloured utensils are so expensive. So, we decided to just tie ribbons on them. Blue ribbon on the fork and pink ribbon on the spoon.
Okay fine, I didn't tie the ribbons coz I do not have the patience and it is just so complicated. So I just cut the ribbons. Which is actually a really important job so don't look down on me.
And of course I am going to dress according to the dress code. But since its going to be a long day and I will be running about (I think!), I am not going to wear some white floral dress with pink and blue ribbons all over it. I am just going to wear my mom's white Giordano shirt and my blue jeans. Maybe, I'll wear pink-coloured contact lenses.
Just kidding.
Now you're asking, "Why on Earth is Jannah telling me what she is going to wear? I am not even going!"
