it's Labour Day.... was waiting for my cookies to bake while my fingers run on this lappy..... a special request from a colleague to let him have a taste on my 'choc specialty'.... i am still receiving ongoing orders for my almond chocs, and last week this colleague of mine was asking if there is any other cookies that i could make apart from the almond choc, so i told him that i'll bake one for him when i have the time to..... so, decided to bake him choc chip cookies, since i still have the ingredients with me....
it's fun working at new environment, and its been 6weeks already, initially i had doubts about changing jobs, afraid that i couldnt adapt to the new envi. It was a turning point to me instead, i'm beginning to have more frens, setting my own goals in my current position for advancement, and what makes it different from my previous one, AOs and Head treat u evenly, u are free to speak your mind, u can joke around, and all in all, i would say, i'm comfortable at where i am currently....
i'm a reserved person by nature, always keeping things to myself, but as time change, i felt that, my social life changes too.... casting my shyness aside, i am able to speak and joke freely with guy colleagues, who often drop by my workstation either to have a short chat or juz to tease... even to those senior colleagues (ladies), we teased each other, without me not knowing their names...(wat an embarrassement i felt at times).... was thinking to start my workout at the gym, but unsure when the day will come.... probably had to wait for my new running shoe from hubby... hehehe...
how time flies, it's already the month of May, counting down to my anniversary date, it'll be our 7th year being together officially... little princezzezz are growing up fast....
soon, they will leave the title "little" leaving princess only close to their names... lil' aniqah, is getting more and more mischievious, i do not know whom she inherited that mischief from... but she's still the apple of the eye.... lil nadyrah, too, is getting more n more smart in terms of asking questions... her reading is improving, thou' mummy hasnt really had the time to fully assist, she is very much independent, coming back from school, she will start to do her homework on her own, and once i'm back from work, what i have to do is to double check on her work... of course, i cant expect a 100% perfection from her, knowing she is only in K2, but overall, i'm pretty satisfied with her achievements....
at times it does come across my mind, how i wish i could have another one anytime soon, but what pulls me back are the financial constraint as well as who will be able to assist in looking after the kiddos... hmm, it's juz a thoughts thou' it still lies in the hands of the Almighty....
was out with my ex-colleague Aida last friday... met her up at Orchard MRT at around 6.20pm and we head down straight to Swensens.... almost an hour there, updating each other.... dinner was on her.... then, i suggested we catch a movie.... okay, this time, movies was on me.... we try our luck at Orchard Cineleisure if we could get any seats as its Friday nite... we managed to booked two seat for Wild Hogs, which was shown at 9.25pm.... great, we have about an hour to walk around before the show... we walked around... and Aida bought herself a bag, i bumped into ex-classmate, Rizal at Esprit, i had his number stored in my hp, as Droolz and i planned for ex-GYSS to have a gathering prob end May, or early June... this was supported by Zack too, but the arrangement is still under considerations....
Wild Hogs.... all i could remember, we were laughing throughout the whole show... great show, i recommend u guys to watch it... it ended at around 11.15pm.... Aida and i waited for cab at Hereen taxi stand and we went our separate ways....
Sat, forced hubby to accompany me to send Didi for her Whizz club, (he just came back in the morning), we brought lil Aniqah along, after sending Didi to class, we return Didi's library books, and we had our so-called lunch at this Thai 'open-restaurant' how do i call it, at Civic Centre.... Once we reached home after fetching Didi, all of us had an afternoon nap, before hubby get prepared to work at 6pm. half an hour later, received a call from MIL, and asked if we will be there as someone is coming over her place to ask for a hand in marriage of my SIL... i told her i cant promise (but i did go finally), as hubby had drive the car to work... after hanging up with her, i got the kiddos bathed, fed and off we go to her place after Maghrib by cab.... hubby picked us up after work which was almost midnite....
2 trays baked, 2 more to go.... hubby had plans to bring the kids out today, prob to Woodlands, for rides... but still need to check on the weather.... if it rains, maybe i'll ask him to drive out somewhere for a walk....
uhhhmmm, feeling exhausted suddenly... its been really a great weeks for me actually, well, some are better left untold.... hehe....
