i've been down with a terrible headache since last friday.... i still received visitors last friday, therefore the thoughts of making my almond choc was canx on that day....
Saturday morning, sent elder princezz for her Creative Writing competition, i assist her in her short composition, and make her memorise the spelling and the flow of her story entitled, My favourite animal....
"Duck is my favourite animal. I named it Ducky the Quack. Ducky likes to hide in the box. Ducky like to swim in the water. It is yellow in colour. Ducky likes to quack, quack, quack. I love my Ducky duck"
short and sweet... and this composition of hers won her the FIRST prize.... 
, she got herself a trophy, $20 popular bookstore voucher and a award certificate... i was impressed, and felt that my presence there ( i was the only parent who was there to watch these children went through the competition, the other parents came only during the award presentation) was paid off... i'm really proud of her... her last attempt in her Show & Tell Presentation wasnt' as lucky as her Creative Writing, but i believe, the exposure is more important... 
We went down to CCK, where hubby picked us up there (as he was from the workshop, retrieving our car, yup, its back) to send Didi for her reading class at Learning Discoveries.... Hubby and I then went to Phoon Huat @ Jurong, to grab a few more stuff for the almond cookies.... Once home, i began to have my headaches. After lunch, and after taking some painkillers, i fell asleep, thou' its not a deep ones.... Hubby fetched Didi from class, and send our car back to the workshop as there was a Check Light which appears once in awhile. When he came back, he woke me up, and asked me to have a proper sleep in the room.. I was totally in a daze, can't even open my eyes, thou' my mind was on my cookies... It was almost Maghrib when i woke up, and realised that hubby had done up half of my cookies... After my shower, i did my parts on my cookies, but it was not long, as i began to get into my sleepy spell again... Yup, i fell asleep towards the end of ManU and Arsenal match, and hubby completed the whole of my 10bottles of cookies... Thanks baby Gorilla, thanks for helping and i love you more for that....
I initiated hubby to drive to work yesterday, thou' usually, Sunday will be me driving the car to shuttle Didi to and fro for her madrasah class.... i finalised the almond toppings before fetching Didi back from madrasah, and when hubby came home, we get ready to our last ride of Raya outings....
Today, i need to complete my chocolate chip cookies, after which i will be taking two days break before i begin with the charity funding orders....
